Sandip Nazare: Painter, Poet, Boxer, blood donator, Social Worker

     We all know that India has lot of talent in it. I experienced this last month (Dec. 2010). He is Painter, poet, a blood donator and a boXer also!!

     Sandip Nazare, A truly patriotic guy. I met him after reading his poems in local newspaper. When I looked inside him deeply, I realized myself that this local talent must be considered globally. Here is the short overview of Mr. Sandip Nazare’s life.

Artist (Painting, Drawing, Mehandi):

1. He has won lot of prizes for drawing and painting. In college days, he won many titles only with pencil sketching. “Sandip is the artist who deserves to be categorized with Mr. M. F. Husain”, a group of B.Sc. girls commented on his drawing.
2. From year 2000, every year, he plays “Dipotsav” (Festival of lights) program in his village at “Samarth Ambajibua ghat” (Bank of river passing near through village) by lighting thousands of candles and diya’s. This happens every year at “Tripurari Pornima”
3. Every year, he performs 10 hours one man show by drawing “Rangoli” on the bank of river.
4. Sandip has drawn Mehandi in hundreds of wedding ceremonies without any cost!

Poet:

1. Sandip wrote his first poem in 1998 during Indo-Pak Kargil war. Today his poems are publishing in Daily Sakal, Daily Pudhari, Daily Kesari, Kranti agrani and many more magazines. He also dedicates his poems on no. of radio channels e.g. Tomato FM, Radio Mirchi, Sangli Akashvani, Green FM, Radio city, Aapla FM, etc.
2. Sandip’s poems are awesome. He writes Marathi poems. For an example, I have taken two poems from him for you all. Out of which he has denied to publish one poem on internet. It’s ok. You can get that poem directly from him.

Boxer:

1. In 2004-05, Sandip took boxing lessons from Mr. Vinod kamble. In 2005, he started to teach boxing in his college at free of cost.
2. He has given 2 state level boxers and one national level boxer. Javed Mulla is the only boxer who won national Gold medal in boxing for Maharashtra.
3. From year 2008, he started to teach boxing to girls and received good results.

Blood Donator:

1. Sandip has donated blood for 16 times from 2003. He doesn’t remember the counts before that.
2. He is always ready to donate blood in emergency conditions. He has done this for 9-10 times.

Social worker:
            This list is uncountable. I have listed some of his social campaigns.

1. He has performed 18+ programs in N. S. S.
2. Established Red Ribbon Club in his village in 2007-08.
3. In 2006, he prepared no. of uneducated students to go to school. He made all services available for them.
4. He actively participated in 2005-06 flood relief campaign in Sangli.
5. He has painted many public places in his village with his own expense.

     Today, Sandip is student of MA (English) III year. He is also studying diploma in Criminal Psychology and making project on “Effect of Blue films and pornography on Teenagers”.
