Direct second year admission delayed

     Education in India is todays top Business. Bollywood movie "Aarakshan" is catching everyone attention on this field. Our educational system is degrading day by day.  I am experiencing this through my admission. As a part of Direct second year admission process, I am representing current situation of this process. I hope all Direct second year student will have same opinion.

Introduction:
     Admissions after 10th and 12th class are in their last stage but admission for direct second year degree (after completing Diploma) is not gearing up.

Background:
     Students who have completed 3 years Diploma in various fields like Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Automobile, Computer, IT,etc get admission for second year and complete four years degree course.

     This admission procedure is conducted by DTE (Directorate of Technical Education). After declaration of results from MSBTE (Maharashtra State Board of Technical Education) on 4th July, 2011, DTE started Online admission procedure from 3rd August. This process is also applicable for Pharmacy students.

Current situation:
     As per the dates declared by DTE on their website, Vacancy seats have to be declared on 12th August, but as per Popular Indian Management Theory, seats have not declared yet and they are planning to postpone all dates. As per new dates, First seat will be admitted in institute on  1st of September. We are not blaming any specific organization because after all this is teamwork.

Real Problem:
1) Colleges of Second year engineering are running regularly and Diploma passing students are lagging behind the syllabus.

2) Every year, Semester exams are conducted during year end. One can understand how much we have to study for those exams only in 2-3 months.

3) According to calender, Ganesh Chaturthi will be celebrated for a week. So we don't get time to properly set in new college.

Conclusion:
     Flop Management by our Universities, Organizations (Like MSBTE, DTE, etc) and Government are affecting our future. India is loosing Qualitative engineers.

Words to DTE:
     We can understand that DTE can't do anything if respective colleges and universities are not supporting them then why don't DTE take any action against them for doing late submissions? We are already late but our juniors can get benefits from this experience. We have a small request;

Either Admit us in colleges or Pass-out all from this semester.
