Bollywood's Queen of Hearts Rani Mukherjee after going through down period of her career is now ready to once again sizzle the dance floors. This time, she decided to come back with Maharashtrian look. Yes. Rani Mukherjee will be seen as Marathi girl in her upcoming movie "Aiyya...". She is also performing a Laavani in movie.
Actress is having two films in her hands. One is Reema Kagti's "Talaash" and another is "Aiyaa..".
In Marathi language, when a girl shies, she says "Aiyaa..". "Aiyaa.." is said to be quirky love story and will give more frame to Rani's character than Talaash.
According to sources, Rani will perform a Lavani dance in the movie. Doing Lavani is tough job for anyone who is not having any background of classical dancing. Fortunately, Rani is having Kathak skills with her. The song is already recorded and the title is "Aga bai". Vaibhavi Merchant will choreograph this song. Both Rani and Vaibhavi are very excited for the song. Rani will be wearing traditional Nauvaari saree (9 yards saree) with Nathani (Nose ring).

The word Lavani came from the word "lavanya" which means beauty. There were days, when Lavani was the only entertainment for Marathi (local Maharashtrian) people. Laavani needs 5 times more energy than any other dance type. it also contains hot looks, flawless dancing steps with Nauvaari (9 yards) saree, giving messages to society, boosting tired soldiers through wordings, etc.
