Rani Mukherjee doing 3 item songs in "Aiyaa.."

     Queen of hearts Rani Mukherjee is set to take item numbers to next level. When every actress is coming up with at least one item number in a year, Rani is going to perform not one, but three item songs in Anurag Kashyap’s upcoming movie “Aiyaa”. 

     Director Sachin Kundalkar said, “ The film is a mixture of reality and dream and Rani will be seen doing three item songs in her dream in the film. Amit Trivedi has composed six songs for the film and three of them will be Rani's item songs. I don't know for how many years I was trying to work with her (Rani). Luckily this script excited her. 

     As far as the lead actor was concerned, one of my friends suggested Prithvi's name.  Prithvi is an amazing actor and both are looking very fresh in the film.  Rani is very hardworking. She had gone through language training program before starting the film. She was a complete Marathi girl on the sets.” 

     Aiyaa is movie about a girl who finds a man desirable because he smells good. I have my fingers crossed and waiting for the movie and looking over each and every news update from various newspapers and internet sources. Let's have look at few news updates;

Rani will pay tribute to Madhuri Dixit, Sri Devi and Juhi Chawla

     Rani will give tribute to talented divas of bollywood. They are namely Marlyn Monroe of Bollywood Madhuri Dixit, Hawa hawai Sridevi and Bubli Juhi Chawla. All of above are favourite actresses of Director Sachin Kundalkar and Rani. Both are excited for their project.

     As per Daily Bhaskar, Rani is all excited about this idea and is preparing for it thoroughly. The director and Rani sat together to shortlist the few songs of the three actresses. Vaibhavi Merchant is choreographing the songs and the styling will be done by Neeta Lulla. Rani will be seen dressed up in three different avatars.

     Selected songs for tribute are as follows;

1. Madhuri Dixit - Mohini in Ek Do Teen, 

2. Sridevi - Manju in Na Jaane Kahan Se

3. Juhi Chawla - Radha in Tu Tu Tutu Tara

     Well, I am sure, Rani will do a good job and make the three ladies feel proud.

     This is another highlight of the movie. Rani has donned the look in a song with tapori avatar. Song has some cheeky and colorful lyrics. According to Times of India, "This song is one of the highlights of the film. It has Rani dressed up as a boy as she teases the girls around her. The lyrics are quite naughty as she talks about her friends." 

Rani to sizzle with Lavani in "Aiyaa..."

     Bolywood's Queen of Hearts Rani Mukherjee after going through down period of her career is now ready to once again sizzle the dance floors. This time, she decided to come back with Maharashtrian look. Yes. Rani Mukherjee will be seen as Marathi girl in her upcoming movie "Aiyya...". She is also performing a Laavani in movie.
